Cruises from Southampton Enjoy Popularity Boom
Cruises from Southampton are set to enjoy a popularity purple patch, as 835,000 holidaymakers will set sail from UK ports in2012, the Passenger Shipping Association reports; an increase of 28% over the last two years.

While pricier than some holidays, that price includes accommodation, food, entertainment, and a number of holiday destinations in one, along with all of their sights and cultural attractions.
Both Med Cruise and Dubai Cruises prove incredibly popular, but are just part of a wide variety of possibilities availability to holidaymakers who cruise from Southampton.
Certain liners which cruise from Southampton can carry as many as 3,000 passengers and with an estimated 1.73 million Britons to take cruise holidays around the worlds, cruises from Southampton, one of the UK’s most popular ports, are expected to benefit from the popularity increase.
William Gibbons, a director at the PSA, said that 2011 has been a good year for the industry with both the value and quality of cruise holidays continuing to appeal.
He said: “The great choice of ships now providing cruise holidays from the UK to a wide variety of destinations will lead to more passengers sailing from British ports.”
For Holidays which offer great activities, great food and plenty of places to see, med cruises, Dubai cruises, and Abu Dhabi cruises from Southampton are difficult to beat.
